Question / Help How can I capture game audio when game is muted when the window loses focus?

I'm trying to produce a stream of a game that I am "playing" as a spectator, where the game client is running on the same machine as my stream computer. I can run the game in a window mode fine and stream it as long as the game window is in focus.

However, I need to be able to work in the OBS UI to stage scenes and switch scenes etc., but when I switch away from the window playing the game, I lose audio. Is there a way I can trick the game to keep playing game audio even if the game window has lost focus?

How else can I stream the game and run the stream production on the same computer?

I gave DisplayFusion a try but the lock focus function didn't work with the particular game I am trying to capture (Street Fighter 4 on Steam). In the end I don't think it is possible to capture the stream and produce a stream on the same computer unless I am doing some weird virtual machine stuff since if I lock focus to the game window, I still won't be able to manage the scenes. It looks like I can only do a simple "capture what I see" stream and nothing like a produced show.

Jackor, this solved 80% of my problems, thanks. It still won't let me do things like update dynamic text but at least I can switch between scenes.
