Hello there.
I'd like to find how OBS actually captures the audio goes through the system. I ask this because currently before the stream actually starts, I have "waiting music" that I play. The music is sent out to my speakers (and thus captured by OBS) while I try to prepare the people who will be presenting. I have tried using the Banana application and CABLE IN/OUT for capturing audio but it still gives the same issue, that is, the sound on the other end (the actual live stream) is hollow.
I do have an audio interface but only has one stereo output which I use to communicate with the speakers without it going over the stream. Yes, I am streaming in stereo (and I do not have any gamer headphones with surround sound) and I have installed the Banana application and CABLE, but still giving the same "hollow" result.
It may be the output stream settings (the Rate Control is set to CBR with a bitrate of 2650 kbps). How can I fix this and how does OBS capture sound?
