Hello i've been experimenting a bit with my stream
Pc specs:
Win8.1,i5-4690,gtx770
Ive ended up with quick sync 3000 bitrate 60fps and it works fine in cs go 80% cpu usage 60C temp no game lag at all
Next game h1z1 all on lowest graphic on 60fps strange noises from pc downgraded to 48fps noises again and even on 30fps i got 70+cpu temp with no in game lag fps drop at al. Im a bit afraid not to crush my cpu. So i have question what to do? Maybe invest in those streamer live cards or i7 processor? Or do something to reduce cpu usage but i think ive done all i could preview disabled etc, need to look for some other games how theheyll behave :/

i7 is an option, or get a better CPU cooler, but spend some money on it in case you later wish to upgrade your old i5. if you have the money, the closed loop water coolers can keep temps down.

Do you know something about those live streamer hd cards? Are they worth buying?
if you have a dedicated streamPC and a second gamingPC, they can work. PCIE cards and USB 3.0 work much better than USB 2.0.

capture cards are exactly what they are. they capture a virtual cloned monitor from a gaming PC to be used on another PC to be encoded and streamed.

Ahh i thought it works like a encoder i plug it in to my computer and it does all the work hah :D.
Ok i decided to sell my i5-4690 and get i7 but which one? I have h97 ashrock motherboard so no overclocking for me:<

Just upgrade your cooler unles you are deadset on getting the i7. start doing some research. me doing research for you will not help you understant what are the +/- of each and what you can afford.
post what you decide on here and I'll give you a thumbs up or down
