Question / Help High upload rate, yet stream still pixelated?

Hello, I am new to the forums but I have been an obs user for quite some time. Anyways, I recently upgraded my internet to where my upload is 16 mbps and download is 32 mbps. With that being said, I tried to stream on as low as 2500 kbps and received extremely high ping while I play DayZ SA (800-1k+). I experience little to no dropped frames according to OBS and my stream says they can view the stream just fine, yet I myself cannot see the stream for some reason and my in-game ping is off the charts. I can stream perfectly fine at 2200 kbps, but the stream is extremely pixelated to where it's hard to read anything. Can anyone create optimal settings for myself? I have experimented so much, yet I am unable to reach a decent conclusion.

Specs: Up 16mbps/Down 32 mbps
  • i5 2500k Oc'd to 4.0ghz
  • GTX 660ti gpu
  • 12g ddr3 1600mhz ram
  • 1tb HDD

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

Can you post your log? (Here's how)

I did the Minimize Network Impact thing and it seemed to have worked slightly. I'm now streaming at 2600 kbps yet I still recieve about 300 ping in game on average (tested with Dota 2). I have the log here:

I can lower the bit rate lower I suppose, but I don't understand why I have to when I have substantial upload to maintain atleast 3000 kbps.
