Question / Help High stream delay as of late

Hello,
has anyone else noticed the huge delay that it takes to stream to the twitch servers?
I know there is always some delay for the encoding and decoding process,
but as of late the delay (without having it set in the options) is about ~25 seconds, and I know for a fact that this hasn't been always like that, because there used to be a time where I could stream with around ~5 seconds delay.

I tried several settings, changing the bitrates/server/quality, but it's always almost half a minute delay,
which probably doesn't matter for most of the streamers, but when I'm hanging out with a friend who plays hearthstone (who also streams and has the same "problem") it's kinda dumb to watch and talk about the game when you're like 2 turns behind.
I'm from Germany by the way, if that matters.

I'm aware that it's probably not a big deal for most people, I'm merely curious if theres a setting for that which I haven't noticed yet.

There's one thing you forgot to try, a forum search...! The delay is due to Twitch's new video distribution system, there's nothing that can be done about it on the user side.

I did try that, though searching for "delay" isn't really much of a help
Anyway, thanks I guess, It's just weird because a friend of mine who uses xsplit didn't have to deal with that big of a delay, although that was about 3 months ago

They changed it within that time, yea. It used to be 3 seconds delay, now it's about 20x that due to their new network system.

Paibox didn't mean any harm, it's just we have to answer this question quite a lot after they implemented it.
