Question / Help High DPC Latency with Logitech C920 in OBS only

I have a problem where as when adding my webcam as a video source into OBS i experience very high spikes of DPC latency which is messing with my audio.

My workaround for now is to play the webcam in Logitechs software and just using window capture to put it into the stream.

Has anyone else experienced this or is this just a bug with OBS?

Yes I have just found out that this is the problem after hours of playing with my audio and updating/downloading audio drivers. It made it unbearable to listen to music whilst streaming and thank god I've found this post after hours and hours of searching and finding nothing!

I'm wondering if it has something to do with a recent update maybe?

I've taken note of your work around and I'll be using that until it's fixed. So thanks for mentioning it!

The c920 performs very poorly when trying to run 30fps video at 1080p. Lower the resolution of the webcam (say, to 720p) and the problems should be fixed.
