Question / Help High CPU-utilization because of encoding

Hello everybody!

[My English's not very good, hope you are able to read it]

I've got a "problem". I want to record Minecraft. When I'm recording, OBS says, my CPU utilization is very high because of encoding. When I finished, the movies are very laggy. Ingame I've got 40 fps.
So, the movie is okay in the first second, but then the movie doesn't continue. I just see the last frame from the first second.

So I wanted to know, if it's possible to switch the encoding off?

Hopefully, you are able to help,

RFP :3

[Here I'll place the laggy movie]

You seem to have forgotten to post your logfile as asked when you make a new post. Its under the help menu. Copy the link and place the link it here.

Dping, I don't have a Link O.o My Logs are in a Folder [C>User>Appdata>Roaming>OBS>Logs]

But I uploaded it :)
I hope, someone's able to answer my question with the log file.

IF you were to go to the help menu like I suggested there is a place to upload current or past logs. After you do that, it gives you a copy button to copy the link where it uploaded :P but yes, this will work to.

your CPU is to slow by itself to do x264 encoding but I think your GPU has VCE 1.0 which will work with the below build of OBS:

https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-branch-with-amd-vce-support.13996/

This build will take the loading from the CPU and put it on the built in encoder with your GPU.

And back again xD

Now there's an error, "Encoding Initialization failed".

I read the thread you linken [didn't understand it at all, but most of it] and didn't finda post, which could help with this error :/

Do you have an Idea?

With that VCE build, post updates there, I will check it as well, . I'll help you here, nvm

Do you have a log from that build?

You cannot use CPU-based recording with that CPU. It is far far too weak.

An old core 2 duo from 2007 is stronger than your CPU. That's how bad that CPU is.

D2, that has already been stated. We are attempting to use VCE, but thanks for your input

I don't know if his CPU can use VCE, because it's a mobile APU, and I think it might be the ULV kind (which leaves out power-hungry stuff).
