Question / Help High CPU Usage

so I got a elgato HD and was using the multiplatfourm had no lag or high usage. But since I can't delay on multiplatforum had to get the OBS. But I'm getting a high usage and being laggy and that's only on preview. So why is it so high usage on OBS but not on my multiplatforum?

You can add delay on multiplatform.

Right click the source > "Filters"
at the top left of the box, click the + on "Audio/video filters" and choose "Video Delay"

Set your delay there.

You will also need to delay the audio most likely in the mixer portion. Hit the gear icon and set the Delay on the audio source for the elgato.
