So, I will try to keep this short, but have enough detail. I play Alan Wake and I record it. I have only played it 2 times so far and thats a total of 2 hours worth according to Steam. Anyway... I open OBS and Alan Wake last night to check my settings since I switch between recording to streaming and stuff.
with just the two open, not even recording or streaming, just on preview to make sure the size is correct ect, my CPU spikes all the way to 80-99 and stays around that the whole time. I don't know if it was like that before since I had it on full screen, but last night I had it on window-mode. I play a lot of different games, but this one i wanted to finish for my channel since I have many who want to see what happens ect.
I even tested it with two other games. One being The Forest, and even with the graphics on that being set to low, the % spiked high again. Without OBS, cpu stays around the 50-65%
The other game was Amnesia the dark descent and it seemed fine. % stayed around the same of 50-65, sometimes went to 75-80, but would drop after a few seconds.
Is there a way to help with the problem?
