Hey guys, so my CPU goes crazy during a WoW stream. (70-100%)
I just got a new video card and i'm trying to mess with settings.
Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/YfJGD6iM
I will install an SSD tomorow, should help overall performance.
But my question is: What settings should i stream on to keep a good quality (The best possible) and not have CPU overload that much?
Or should i buy a new CPU?
(My cpu isnt OC'd, have no idea how to do it.)
Buying a new CPU isnt a big deal. So if it will help alot, tell me which one please :)

You have a ton of late frames because you are trying to stream at 1080p60 on the fast preset. Not only is 1080p60 difficult on your CPU, but the fast preset makes it even harder. And on top of that, streaming at 1080p60 is a really bad idea because it is so difficult for people to watch. Flash is a big resource hog and only people with very fast computers can even watch it in the first place.

Drop your frame rate to 30fps and raise your preset back to veryfast and your performance should improve a lot. Also, lower your bit rate to 3500, and don't use a custom buffer size.

also an ssd wont increase your overall performance all it does is lower the time you are in the loading screen in wow ... and the time your pc needs to bootup pretty much increases loading and writing speed nothing to do with actual performance increase
