Hello!
So Ive been streaming regularly lately and never really had any issues with OBS.
I then installed Windows 10 amd ever since it tells me that it uses too much CPU (which it clearly does, everything becomes extremely laggy) it says something about the koding, even though Ive tried alot of different options (1000, 3500, 10000, 15000). I'm using x264 and have CBR enabled. Have also been switching between different FPS and resolutions. Still the same problem. One thing I did find quite wierd when I looked through my settings was that no graphics card had been chosen, and neither could I. Any help would be much appreciated as I am someone who really relies on this program.
Thanks
PC Specs

Intel® Core™ i5-4460 processor

Chipset: Intel® H81 Express Chipset

Ram: 8GB, DDR3 1600MHz

Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960, 2GB

Post your logfile. make sure all your updates are done and also check task manager under the process tab and organize by CPU, look at what is using the most.

During tech preview, I had a Intel chipset driver that was using 25% usage which will push any stream over the limit if you are running close to max before.

You need to do further investigation on what else is using your CPU during gameplay. 720@60 is borderline for your CPU so any one thing running will push you over to the edge. Even a browser watching your own stream.
Thank you! Do u think 1080p 30fps wpuld be worse or better?

I'm having a similar problem. Using OBS used to use 20-something percent of my CPU, now task manager lists it as using 95 percent and up. I haven't changed any of my settings, only updated to Windows 10. Following the lead of the previous poster, I have my log file uploaded here:

you have a weak CPU, I would not be surprised if those settings took up 50-60%. Also, there is a OBS multiplatform section you can post in for that version of OBS.

Same here. I also have a lot of duplicated frames, it has to be operating system related, I have a beast of a system and didnt have those issues before.
