Question / Help Helping a friend - Black Screen When Trying to Stream XCOM

Hello!

This is the classic Black Screen when trying to use game capture. However, my friend is not using a laptop. He is on a desktop with an AMD Radeon HD 7450. When trying to capture XCOM: Enemy Within with game capture he gets a black screen on the stream. He cannot select it under window capture, and when using monitor capture and then opening the game the screen is also black on stream.

Try using the Hotkey trick.

Right click on Game Capture (or whatever he named the Game Capture source) and click Properties. Then click Use Hotkey, set your hotkey, and try using it then when you get the black screen.

Thanks, it worked. Weird that it doesn't capture normally.
