Question / Help HELP!!!

Im trying to stream on twitch and it looks like the playback video is not that good. Im wondering if someone can help me give any obs set up.

PC Specs:
GPU:
Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz
Graphics:
ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti Poseidon I-P-6GD5 Graphics Card - 6 GB GDDR5 - 384-bit - 1114 MHz
MemCard: 32g
HD: 4T
SSD: samsung 1T

Im trying to stream on 60 fps and 1080p . my encoding is NVENC. because when i try to use the x264 my fps drop from 300 to 100. Do the NVENC encoding needs a driver to make my streaming/stream play back smoother?

nvenc will always look horrid at streaming bitrates.
Also, if you don't have partnership, 1080p30 and 720p60 (and higher) streaming isn't viable due to viewer routing issues.

1080p60 is completely not viable on twitch without partnership.

so whats the best settings for a new streamer? i just want my stream to be smooth and have a good quality

720p@30fps, 2000kbps, x264 Veryfast or lower preset is the 'golden point' for non-partnered streamers.

Exceeding 2000kbps is strongly advised against, to minimize viewer buffering and keep your stream accessible to the widest reasonable viewerbase, and encourage viewer growth. 1080@60 starts at 5000kbps and wants 6mbps+ to look decent, which is well into the range that can end up having your account banned as a denial-of-service attack. NVENC is trash quality, and should be considered a local-recording-only compression method.
