Question / Help HELP

Can anyone help me? everytime i choose the game capture then choose my open game then start recording. when i finish the screen is black but there is only sound. PLEASE HELP I AM OPENING A NEW GAMING CHANNEL AND I NEED THIS PROGRAM TO WORK BADLY

Did you tick the source? If you don' tell obs the source you want to capture it will result in a black recording.
More info in general would be nice. What game are you trying to record?

i tried to record a couple of trial games like the punisher and mirror's edge 1
