Question / Help Help with upgrading streaming PC

So I'm planning to upgrade my PC so it's much more capable of better quality streaming as well as recording.
My current specs are:
GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 390 8GB VDDR5
CPU: AMD FX-8320 @ 3.6GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz
MB: Asus M5A97 R2.0
CPU-Cooler: Hyper Evo 212

I'm completely aware that my pc is already capable of streaming, but I often run into problems with my CPU overheating and underperforming when working with CPU-bound tasks. I'm considering going for an i7-4790K along with an MSI Z97 Motherboard (G43 or GAMING 5 model, not sure). I'd like as much performance as possible, while not breaking my wallet. I looked into getting an i7-6700K, but that would require a RAM upgrade and some more expensive motherboards, which doesn't really favor me much. Plus, if I do get the i7-4790K and the Z97 MB, I will have just enough cash left to get myself something like a H110i for CPU cooler, allowing me to overclock and get better performance. If anyone has a better solution, please let me know. My budget is about £520, €670, $756. - Keep in mind, the prices in Denmark are a little higher than you'd find on like Amazon.com, as our taxes are a bit higher.

OR, you could spring for the better cooler now and see if that helps your issues, if not go for the 4790K. I'm just changing the order in which you'd buy, nothing more :D

Go with current Gen Hardware, since theres only a few bucks Price difference and it will also last a bit longer, especially for future Upgrade compatibility since 1150 has already ended.

Thats what you should aim for if you want proper streaming and gaming performance + the possibility to OC.

Thats what you probably could afford right now.

Sadly, again, It's Denmark. My budget is 5000 DKK
and here's the prices for just the CPU's and MB's

As you see, the only viable option if I also want that efficient cooling and keep 16GB's of RAM is the i7-4790k, as DDR4 is about 700 DKK for a 16GB 2133MHz kit. One thing I'm also trying to tackle here is the heat production of my pc, and the noise. I wouldn't be able to overclock the i7-6700K much with my current air-cooling solution, compared to an i7-4790K with liquid cooling.

Going with German Currency. Corsair h110i GTX is garbage for the Price and wont allow you to OC much more compared to a cheaper Noctua High end Air Cooler. Another important part which you didnt even list was your Case, if the either of the Cooling Solutions even fits. and if you watch the pcpartpickerlist closely you will see i chose 8gb ddr4 for the i7 6700k.

the GTX models are better than the normal ones. my H80i GT keeps down my old 32nm hexcore @4.6 (x5690 aka 990x) so I cant imaging a 4790K being hotter.

I need 16GB of ram. 8 won't cut it for my other work. I do image and video editing as well, which is the reason I first upgraded from 8GB to 16GB. I feel that the upgrade to a DDR4 platform will be a waste of money. While it will be faster and better for things like video editing, It's still 16GB's to replace the current 16GB I already have.

I'm not sure myself, but do you know what great benefits the skylake processor have over the DC one?

Well epsecially then you want to save more Money and go all the Way for the 5820k.

I'll see what I'm able to do. I just think the powerful cores of the 4xxx and 6xxx will be more beneficial during something like gaming and streaming, maybe?

no they are actually not. the gain for pure gaming performance lays within 1% and then you are not streaming + gaming thats where the threads really start kicking in

I see. Well, to save up to an i7-5820k, it'd take ages because of the prices, but a danish company just started a campagin with an Asus Z170 Pro, i7-6700K and 16 GB DDR4 ram for 4600DKK.. great timing! Also, I figured out that the 6700K can encode h.264 and h.265, where the 4790k only can decode it. So I'll be aiming for a 6700K.
