Question / Help Help with stream quality for CSGO

Hello I'm trying to get my stream quality as crystal clear as summ1t or any other high-end quality CSGO streamer. I really need help with my settings because no matter what i do it looks like very low FPS / Bitrate even though i pretty much got it at the maximum...

I recently bought a new high-end PC/Internet speed to be able to stream in high-quality aswell so this is beyond frustrating when i have no clue how to setup my OBS to maximize my quality :/...

I'll begin with my computer specs, internet, current obs settings, etcetc

Computer Specs:

If somebody out there can find a the best high-quality crystal clear image for my stream i'll be very happy since i spend so much money on my streaming setup i really want the high-end result aswell.

If you compare these 2 VOD's u'll see a HUGE difference in quality... And i have no idea why because my stream is supposed to be 60 fps but it looks more like 30 to me for some reason aswell as very blurry on longer distance...

Please help!!

By any chance you remember exactly what settings you used for each TAB for this VOD?

I highly doubt you do but worth asking.

i actually do remember all settings but for some reason they dont work anymore the way they did

lets start
encoding:
cbr and cbr padding checked.
quality balance was left on default since its not needed (8)
bitrate/buffer 3000
audio 48khz and 128bitrate

broadcast settings:
amsterdam server
everything else default

video:
base resolution of my 1st monitor (1920x1080)
downscale of 1.5 (1280x720)
bilinear filter
fps 60

audio:
everything default

advanced:
multithread optimization checked
process priority high
preset veryfast
encoding profile im not sure about it i guess i left it at "high"
keyframe interval of 2 seconds
cfr checked
everything else default


but sadly im not sure what csgo settings i've been using that day either everything on low and 1920x1080 or 1280x720 since its not stretched its not my 4:3 resolution which im usually using.

If you ask me they all look almost equal.... Im soon giving up in trying to achieve better quality because no matter what i do it all look blurry/laggy/low fps'ish... I dont get how other streamers can get more clear image then i can :/

the 1080p one looks like it got some fps dips now and then

the 900p looks as smooth as the 720p but had a single dip on the vod as far as my eyes could follow

the 720p one looks pretty much like my old highlight ...

the 4:3 stretched one looks fps'wise the best but stretched game content just looks shitty


considering your vod's i'd stay with 720p ingame resolution, to me it kinda achieved the best result out of all of them and also had a really smooth 60fps look

Okey thanks for the answers.

I did not drop any frames in any of the VODs btw as you can see in the net_graph 3.

Reason it might look like i drop could be because i tab in and out of the game with fullscreen :p

I'll stick to the 720p i guess.. Btw do you know if most of the people streaming CSGO do it with game capture or window capture?

I dont get how people can get crystal clear image seems impossible in CSGO, you dont think this looks very blurry?

Also whenever i use r1ch's analyzing tool for twitch channels i get this message: "This channel is processed by Twitch's transmuxer which strips CBR padding and other data. Bitrate-related information may not be accurate."

What exactly does this mean and why dosent any other channel have this?

looks fine to me... and im pretty much ONLY using game capture.

and about the blurrynes its more like a bit fuzzy around the models everything else is kinda almost crystal sharp. therefor you could play around with the filters but the way its looking right now i would be pretty satisfied
