Ok so I kind of have to questions for this quote...

1.) My computer monitor has a resolution of 1440x900, and when I record after I look back at the recording there are two black bars on the sides and I have no idea how to fix it. I've tried using game capture and nothing happened.

2.) I need help improving my videos frame rate and also to help improve my personal frame rate in the game while I record.

The black bars are due to twich is default 16:9 ratio.. etc 1280x 720 / 1920x1080 - your screen might be 8:5 screen ratio or something different that is why, since your screen is the not same ratio as the twitch video player is

sometimes games can be changed to a different ratio.. that is 16:9 - but normally it follows your screen base resolutions.. = alwasy your screens default ratio.. however changing this will look wierd on your screen, since this is not the normal display form that the screen supports, so everything will look different and normally not playable. So i would say "no"... even custom resolution in OBS will make the end result wierd for the viewers..
