Question / Help Help with OBS settings on PC

Hi, I need help with setting up OBS on my pc for my specs,

CPU: Intel Dual-Core Pentium @2.50GHz
RAM: 4GB
Motherboard: Unknown
GPU: Asus Nvidia geforce 210
Capture Card: Elgato

Honestly to stream your PC needs about 700-1000$ in a parts overhaul

I dont have the money for a PC that much. What if i got a new CPU, i had no problem yesterday with OBS

Start here. Also when posting, it's best if you provide all the info possible. We can't hope to provide you with any sort of help without an internet speed estimate, for starters.

i doubt that you streamed anything more than 720p30 and your desktop because your cpu would probably max out straight and your gpu isnt even capable of 720p30 gt/gtx 2xx series with gddr3 vram pretty much end at 480p30 everything above leads into huge frame drops and a really choppy stream


to stream 720p30 you need atleast an 2nd gen i5 / amd fx 6xxx or 8xxx and pretty much everything above a nvidia gtx 560 / amd radeon hd 5770 or something like that

then again old part except for the gpu are either expensive as hell or not available anymore thats why you might also just go with the latest hardware in a cheap budged area

I stream 720p60 but honestly you'll need a new GPU/CPU to do much of anything
