Question / Help Help with mic problem

I am running OBS to stream Xbox 360 with my elgato gaming capture. I am trying to figure out why my OBS isnt allowing my mic to work, my mic is a built in one on my computer but it wont work for OBS. The viewers can hear what the people are saying but since my mic isnt picking up on OBS they cant hear me. The mic itself works with everything (skype, elgato software, etc.) I was wondering what I can do to get it to work! If you could respond and help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Post a log please. Also, please let me know if it's actually registering any sound for it on the volume meter. You could also just have the wrong device selected in audio settings, or perhaps the base volume is too low.
