Question / Help Help with frame drop and black screen ( In recording)

hello, I'm currently trying to get OBS to work, I have a lenovo G570 and I am getting lots of lag in the video that I record, my game isn't lagging much, but the recording is. Also, when I try to go fullscreen, (I'm recording Minecraft) the recording ethier records my desktop, (if I'm using monitor capture) and or it records black screen ( if I'm using game capture)

I'm afraid your computer is too weak to support x264 encoding while having a game, even more in 768p ! (~90% of your frames are dropped because your encoder lags too much)

So, in essence I need a new computer in order to record a game?
