I kept RECentral open but I but a window capture and it still dosent work it comes out black. All drivers are up to date everything. And there are a bunch of RECentral options for windows capture I tried everyone but no luck too. I tried Reajusting the windows but still its black. Please help.

Could you perhaps post a log where you had this happen? Also, make sure not to use the "stream engine" with that device, use the device itself directly. I've heard it's a pretty good device, and according to others it should be working fine with OBS. Get me that log file and I'll see what's up.

It doesn't appear to be reporting any error -- which is strange. Could you try using custom resolution in the device's properties, and then set it to 1280x720 at 29.97 FPS and try again?

Nope dosent work like I said a windows capture dosent work too if you were wondering.

It should be 1280x720 and 59.94 fps, but in case the U3 does not scale your input to your selected output resolution (I have not tried the U3 myself, so I'm not sure), you will need to match it to whatever the input is.

If what you're capturing is running at 720p, you need to set it to 1280x720 and 59.94, if it's 1080i, it needs to be 1920x1080 and 29.97, 1080p 1920x1080 and 59.94, etc.
