Hello,

I have been having issues with webcam/mic syncing. I believe I have to add a buffer to the webcam but I'm not sure exactly how much ms I need to add.

Mic in question is a Logitech G35, camera is a Logitech C920.

If you need to check out any content I have produced... channel in signature.

Help would be appreciated.

Easiest way to get your mic and cam to sync up is to disable the mic in OBS' audio settings, turn on "use buffering" in the device's source properties, and add the mic in the device's source properties (audio device drop down to the right of "use buffering")

Well, your method didn't help but what did help is going into the cam software and disabling all the auto stuff and making it so the cam software is all manually adjusted. It seems that having stuff like Logitech rightlight and whatnot active causes camera lag in OBS.

Although I am guessing this lag is just "in general" lag due to the software processing the image and analysing it or something, I am no codemonkey so I don't know... you probably have a better idea than me as you're the dev right?

May I take the time to personally thank you for creating and developing this awesome piece of software.

What you need to do is take a video of you clapping or doing something where the sound and motion happen at the same time, and determine the time delay you need.

Well, I think I have resolved the issues just with the disabling of those frankly useless features but thanks for your reply nonetheless, glad to have assistance :)
