Hi friends
I am a brand new streamer on Twitch, but before I start pushing to views and the like, I thought I'd baton down all the hatches, and make sure I had all my tools in place. I know this is going to have a learning curve, but I'm doing my best to work through it.
The meat of my question is this: I'm using my laptop as my dashboard manager and the way I interact with my viewers, and it has a decent built in webcam. Rather than spending money on a new piece of hardware, I wanted to see if there was anyway to let my existing equipment go the extra mile.
I followed this guide: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/android-webcam-guide-for-obs.13631/ and the the advise of xiuide to set up my phone as a web cam, and honestly, it works flawlessly. Except, my desk in my little apartment is quickly running out of space. Initially I had the camera set up and twitch chat running on the phone, but I'm finding that the chat alone doesn't give me enough accessibility to the stream.
Is there a similar PC application that'll put my webcam on a local IP so that I can just point the CLR Browser plugin at it?
