Hello,
I'm really wanting to stream BF4 and the new Dayz Standalone game. But when ever I try to stream them my FPS goes to unplayable FPS. Im not really sure what I'm doing wrong i have seen some streamers with the same build as me and streaming fine. My PC Specs are.
AMD FX-8350 OC 4.7GHz

16Gb of CORSAIR Vengeance Ram

EVGA GTX 780 ACX FTW

120Gb SDD & 2TB

Stream Settings

Quality balance:10
Max bitrate 3500 /buffer: 5000 and tried the same Bit rate no luck
Audio: AAC/128 bitrate

Video: custom, 1280x720 (native resolution is 1600p)
Resolution downscale: 1.25
FPS: i have tried 30 up to 60

Multithread Optimizations: on
Preset: veryfast
Internet Speed

BF4 is really quite demanding, so you might run into some issues, though it seems you're using window capture to capture your games. I'd probably recommend trying game capture first, and seeing if that helps. On windows 7, game capture has higher performance than window capture, and should affect your game less.

Ok thanks for your help but even with game capture its unplayable should streaming really drop 50+ frames.

Should streaming drop your framerate of the game? It depends on your stream settings, streaming requires a lot of CPU simply because you're encoding video while gaming. It depends on each specific case -- BF4 might affect the stream or be affected by the stream more than most games. For DayZ standalone I'm not sure, I don't know enough about it, but I haven't heard of many problems with it yet.
