Question / Help Help Setting up a stream

Hello. I just got OBS and i am trying to figure the optimal settings for streaming league of legends.

My upload speed is about 1.0 mbps, i have 7 gb ram, an i7 procesor 920@ 2.67 GHZ and i am using a GEFORCE GTX 275 graphics card.

I tried the estimator but i can't seem to get a good balance between viewing quality and game latency. :/

Ah, I see, 1.0 mb/s. You won't really get any semblance of quality with upload that low, unfortunately. You'll have to downscale probably to somewhere around 480p.. 540p might be okay.

I downscaled it to 902x506. Hopefully that will do the trick. :)

the funny part is ... since you got one of the worst but still compatible gpu's working with obs you area already forced to downscale to 480p to get a stable 30fps output and then theres also your upload.

1st gen i7 might be able to run faster preset with that much downscale bitrate wise i'd say start with around 500-600 and audio bitrate of 48
