I recently downloaded OBS, for the third time. I'm just now getting used to the software. I know how to set it up to record the game I want it to record and such things.
I'm using a MacBook Pro, and when I go to the 'File' tab and select 'View Recordings', it brings up another pop up of the recordings I've done. Now, my Mac automatically has the Quicktime Player, and obviously iMovie.
BUT, my problem is, when I record, then stop the recording the file automatically saves as a '.flv'. In order to open it in Quicktime, it has to be in '.mov' and for iMovie it's not .flv. I've tried changing the properties myself by right clicking the file, and hitting 'Get Info', and changing it there. But I am still not able to open any of the recordings.
And suggestions on how to fix this?? I've been adjusting things, and trying to figure it out for about two days now, I've googled about it, but nothing comes up with what I need help on.
Thank you in advanced! :)
NOTE: I have the newest version of OBS, since I've just downloaded it a few days ago. My MacBook is a 2012, but I got it in December. So nothing I'm using is old, it's all new.
