Edit: I attached a log file for SC CT. I'm not having trouble with Mafia in game capture anymore either.
I've been testing doing a game capture of the steam version of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory with the latest version of OBS, and the game crashes while I'm capturing it for streaming.
The crash occurs when the game transitions from the mission briefing screen into gameplay. A crash will also occur if I and capturing and change any video setting.
I can work around this by alt-tabing from the game to OBS, unchecking the game under the sources so it's no longer being captured, going back to the game to start gameplay, and then going back to OBS and rechecking the game so it gets captured, and finally going back to the game.
Has anyone figured out a solution though?
