I am a new streamer and i mainly stream in Facebook using OBS. I have two monitors, one is 144hz which is my main and the other is 75 hz (overclocked). I usually put all my applications on my second monitor while gaming and streaming (like our discord, OBS application and google chrome with my stream dashboard in it). Somehow i just noticed that whenever i open my dashboard via GC browser, i somehow tend to lose around 5-15 FPS in game. This is already big for me since i wanted to stay at a constant 144 fps in game.
Do you guys experience the same or do you have any guides?
My systems are:
1. CPU - i5 8400
2. GPU - GTX 1070ti
3. RAM - 16gb
Additional notes: I stream at 720p/30 fps at 2.5k bitrate and I have not experienced any FPS loss (via the statistics found at the bottom of the OBS app). I also do not have any issues with my bitrate nor FPS on my stream. Constant green box in the OBS software, and 29-30 FPS.
It's just my game is kinda micro stuttering.
