Question / Help Help! my mic audio is just tuning out and its quiet!

and on my recent post on youtube i realized my mic got mostly muted out i could hear myself a bit but it was a pain to hear me i went back on OBS and i figured out YouTube wasn't the cause Sony Vegas wasn't the case it was OBS

So you could hear it, but it was very quiet?

Make sure the mic volume is loud enough in OBS, and the mic level in your Windows sound settings is high enough. You may need to set a Mic boost in OBS in Audio settings.

Ok first off where is the windows sound settings control panel (i think i know where it is and i have tried that a million times) and it only goes up 1 bar and i can't help it! i need to get content out to my viewers!
