Hi, in windows I have the native resolution of my monitor that is 2560 x 1440 cloned to my captor elgato hd60s, so far everything is correct, but when I enter a game, this only leaves me at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, but if I disable the capture and cloning of my screen, if I can see windows and my games at 2560 x 1440.

Why does this happen?
how can I solve that ?

Having the same issue wuth my Avermedia Live Gamer HD (C985) 3440 x 1440 monitor. As i use display port to the graphics card and the capture card is HDMI, im thinking this is the issue.

Right eldest hd60s supports up to 1080p resolution, which is what you should pick up on your hdmi cable signal and also record.

But I through my monitor connected by displayport should continue to see the games at 1440p as it happens with windows.

But I do not understand why windows if it goes to the resolution of 1440p and in games to 1080p, should everything go to 1080p if it is like you say, right?
