'Display Capture' source is a good option for you. Try it instead of the 'Window Capture' source (crop Display Capture if you have unneeded parts).

I'd like to expand on this issue. People keep saying "Oh just use display source!", but what if there is information or other items you don't want visible when streaming? Or in my case, I have multiple items on the same monitor, and stacked. Its quite the frustration.

I have similar problem: Excel, and the whole MS Office 2016 application window can not be captured using OBS or any other other broadcasting software. I have nvidia geforce 9800GT and windows 10.
