Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with Local Recording on my Desktop.

Specs:

Intel Core i7-4930K 3.4GHz 6-Core Corsair
H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid
Asus Sabertooth X79 ATX LGA2011
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
MSI GTX 780 Lightning 3GB
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
Western Digital Caviare Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Corsair 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V
Asus PB278Q 27.0"

I'm trying to locally record Dark Souls 2 (been testing with Portal 2 as well) - All at the native resolution (2560 x 1440) downscaled to 720 (2.00). Bicubic Sharper
I have these games installed on my C: Drive which is the SSD and recording too my D: Drive which is the WD 1TB 7200RPM. I've even tried Recording on the SSD for tests takes.

Both games they lag/jitter. The game itself is fine. It doesn't lag but the video itself does. I've used different players (VLC, KMPlayer, iTunes -.-, ETC) but I can't seem to figure out why it's lagging. I've used FRAPS as another alternative and that works fine but I prefer OBS for its smaller file size. I'm not sure what to do next.

Can anyone help me?
If you need more information please let me know.

Below are my settings.

I believe I figured it out. It was mainly due to the settings in the Advanced Tab

I made the Process Priority Class to Normal and CPU Preset to Very Fast. In my opinion I thought I had a pretty decent CPU to be able to go higher but I guess not. Just stick with the defaults i guess.
