Hello, I'd say I am a novice compared to most, but I've learned the basics of OBS. However, I decided to install OBS on my desktop, which is a few years old -- I was running it off of a 2-year-old laptop with no issue but I was then limited on internet speed while streaming.
I am not a gamer, but I produce a podcast/ live stream (fantasy football) via OBS.
The issue is, with the older Dell 2305 AMD processor, I am limited to the x264 option in the OBS settings. Whereas on my laptop equipped with Intel QSV.
The laptop cpu usage is in the single digits, the desktop is in 60s when i am live testing this right now.
Where am I going wrong?
