GPU - RX580 8GB
MONITOR -MG28UQ 4K

I Would Like to Record in 4k but most guides don't seem to do it.
Any Help would be appreciated!

No output session in log.

Include a log file if you have a problem: here's how

To upload a log file, go to the Help menu -> Log Files -> Upload current/last log file. The current log file is for the currently active running session. The last log file is for the last time you ran the program. We recommend always including it just in case.

Open OBS. Start an output session (streaming or recording). Observe your issue. Stop the output session. Upload the Current log without quitting OBS.

That said, this is relevant:

Change RGBA back to the default NV12.

Suggest using a lower canvas resolution. Trying to live encode 4K in RGBA on an RX580 while also running something else is probably not going to work.
 
To put it bluntly, recording at 4k is HARD. Your CPU might be able to do 30fps 4k on ultrafast if nothing else is utilizing the CPU, but that's about the limit.

The best option right now for 4k capture is using nvenc on a turing card. Unfortunately, your AMD card's hardware encoder is not dedicated silicon and requires leveraging the GPU's compute cycles. You can try using the AMF encoder, but set your hopes too high.

If you have your eyes dead set on recording 4k, then you will need either need a turing gpu (GTX 1650 super or higher -- not standard GTX 1650 or 1650ti), or a standalone recording device that records 4k (such as the Elgato 4k60 S+).
