Hello,
I would like to do gameplay videos, but I can't record my favorite game, killing floor 2. Each time I try, the video i have is full of visual lag. The game itslef doesn't lag when playing.
Here are my specs : MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro, I7 2.60 GHz, NVIDIA GTX860M, 8Go RAM.
I tried a lot of settings, using x264 and Nvidia Nvenc, changing all kinds of settings following tutos on the web and on this forum, but I still can't have a fluent vid. Nvenc works fine for loads of other games though

You basically can't use nvenc on your laptop because of how much additional bandwidth it puts per-frame.

So do I have a solution to record some kf2 ? Or is it totally hopeless ? Because I'd really love it

The problem is in the video card. Not much we can do, especially not on a laptop.

Try High Performance "HP" preset instead of High Quality "HQ". Kepler-generation GPUs can't do HQ preset at that resolution and framerate.

Also...

"Scene buffering time set to 400"

Set this to 700 instead of 400.

Good chance it still won't be good enough, but its worth a shot.
