Hello. I have been wrestling with a problem for a while. I am currently trying to run a dual PC setup with my gaming PC having a 780 card and an i7 4770k processor. My streaming PC on the other hand is an i7 2600 with a AMD Radeon HD 6570 graphics card. Now, while streaming on my gaming PC I dont receive any lag or FPS drops, but when trying to stream on my other PC, the downgraded one, lag occurs. I have a HDMI cable from my gaming pcs gpu running into the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable, and a USB cable connected from the device to my streaming PC. There are no direct issues with receiving a signal, the problem lies when I preview the stream. Lag in form of FPS drops (I think) occurs when I preview. I got my gaming PC to use 144hz but I think that the hdmi cable can only transfer 60 hz? I have a nice bitrate and it is set to 60 FPS, I also used 1.50 resolution downscale. Still it lags. Is there any way to fix this issue, or is the avermedia live gamer HD a much better option in streaming? I am streaming CS:GO generally, a fast FPS game. Does the HD accept a higher FPS input/output or whatever. What I am asking is if the Avermedia Live Gamer HD would fix my issues?Would my preview in OBS then be smooth gameplay?
