Hello! First post, Hopefully this'll go smoothly!
Anyway! I'm new to the whole recording game-play scene and I'm having a little trouble 'fine tuning' the settings to record me playing some games without these slight stutters, and even freezing for a couple seconds. Oh I guess I should mention that I'm only trying to record locally - I wont be Streaming. I'll then just upload to (X) website whenever I'm ready.
I'm not sure if I need to post my computer specs, so I'll just go ahead and do it:
Now I'm using the settings from the guide in the forums "How to Make High Quality Local Recordings" but like I said, When I'm watching the video after I've recorded, I get these small stutters and screen freezes for a few seconds.
I'm hoping somebody would be nice enough to post a few tips that may help me out. Maybe there was something simple that I missed?
Oh last thing, For now I'm just trying to record some Team Fortress 2 game-play, I didn't think about it until now that I'm posting this (silly me, why not smoke anther one) I could turn down the graphics settings from the higher settings, maybe that'll help a little.
Many thanks in Advanced!
