Sup guys.

I just tried to stream with OBS (never tried streaming before). And I end up having heavy lags in game. I will try to give you guys as much information as possible so you can help me out with this. And I'd like to say that I tried 3300 bit rate at first but since it was lagging I tried lowering it during the stream to 2500 and then 1800 but it didnt change anything.

My internet connection: http://gyazo.com/8c93a50f0169e6ba602362fc34525dcd or this http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4225519222

My PC:
Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
System: Windows 7, 64-bit
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

I don't know if there is any other specs that are relevant? If there are, tell me and I'll try to give you the info.

And here is the log file from that stream session: https://gist.github.com/60772a430ffa885f2113

I hope that you can help me out guys!

Thanks in advance,
Gurr

Downscale your stream resolution to 1280x720, run CS:GO with the -high switch and cap your FPS to something reasonable either through enabling vsync or setting the fps_max cvar.

Right-click on CS:GO in Steam and select Properties, then click the Set Launch Options button. Add -high in the box, this will cause CS:GO to run at a higher priority and can help smooth out performance issues with streaming. You would also add +fps_max # here if you're going to use it, replacing # with the frame rate limit you want.

Thanks again.

I would like to stay around 300 fps as that is when my game floats the smoothest tho... Hmm

Sapiens, I did set CS:GO to high priority and I think it stopped the lagg. But now my stream lags instead... Kinda strange lol. Should I put OBS to high priority aswell?

I think I might have found a "fix" for the problem. I had my resolution on 1920x1080 earlier and it lagged. I changed to 1280x720 and it stopped lagging. But the problem is it was showing only like 50% of my screen in the game..
