Heavy audio distortion when recording bass guitar for Youtube videos

Ive been trying to record a video of me playing bass guitar, but all the recordings have heavy clipping. I know the input isnt clipping on my audio capture source as the input is below clipping levels. I tested my hardware on my DAW reaper and the audio comes out just fine with no distortion, so it isnt the hardware. My sources audio capture properties are set to the correct hardware, so Im at a loss. I’d appreciate it if someone could help me find a solution.

Make sure all of your devices are configured correctly in Windows with Spacial Sound & all enhancements disabled.

The only place I can find how to adjust the sample for these devices is in the settings, but I dont know where to adjust these individually in the program.
