I am currently trying to set up my Avermedia C985 for streaming and recording in a way that makes it so I don't have to keep plugging in and unplugging HDMI cables.
I have my Wii U setup to the switcher as the only thing in one of the three inputs
I will be adding the mini NES when it launches as the second input to the switcher so that I will be able to switch to either console and then stream or record with the capture card without messing around with cables.
The current way I am trying to go about this is;
Wii U > HDMI Switcher > Avermedia C985 > TV
Doing so though causes nothing to pick up a signal, I have checked all the cables, if I got straight from the Wii U to the C985 I get a signal to the device and TV, If I go from the Wii U to the HDMI switcher to the TV (so no C985 in the middle) I get a signal.
Does anyone have a work around? Please help
Thank You
