Question / Help HD PVR 1 Black Screen

i just got obs and wanted to test it because xsplit was really laggy. but when i add my hd pvr 1 there is just a black screen and i dont know what to do.

Hauppauge USB devices are currently not directly supported. They have encoded video streams, unlike many other capture cards. Currently, the only way is to use Monitor Capture, to capture the section of your screen the preview window for Totalmedia Extreme, or Hauppauge capture (Whichever you use. )
