Question / Help Having trouble with OBS and Avermedia RECentral.

Hello, I was hoping someone here could help me out. I'm using an AVerMedia C875 Live Gamer Portable as a capture card along with the RECentral, LGP Stream Engine and OBS programs in order to capture my gameplay and stream.

I have a Playstation 2 with the red, white and yellow RCA cables plugged into a RCA to HDMI converter box. The box then has a HDMI to HDMI male going from it into my LGP with a HDMI from it into my PC monitor. The converter and cables work perfectly as I'm able to play it on my monitor with no issues. However, when I try to preview a stream on OBS I'm just getting a black screen. I stream all the time using Xbox One with the same method however it just uses and HDMI from the console directly to the LGP. So I know my settings for streaming to OBS are correct. I'm confused as to why it won't capture the PS2 video and audio.

I tried bringing up LGP Stream Engine and RECentral to see if I could get a picture but I've had no success, even after changing settings around to experiment with. If anyone could help me with this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Most likely the composite->HDMI adapter may be putting out a signal that isn't compatible with the AverMedia device.

Easiest way would be if your monitor lists the resolution and refresh rate of the signal it's getting. Take that and compare against the supported spec list on AM's website or manual.
