i just put all my switches back to place and i put reset to default settings and i applied it. My computer turns on but my screen wont turn on now. i have to hold down the mem okay button

So i go in AI tweaker and go to DRAM Frequency and put DDR3 1600MHz.Probably manually set RAM speed to DDR3-1600, which is compatible with CPU. The mem-ok button test multiple RAM speeds and eventually should find one that works.

I did make sure i am very careful when it comes to putting the CPU in. With the BIOS settings to default the blck is now 100 MHz and the vcore is now 1.088I would also check to make sure you didn't bend pins on the mobo when you replaced the CPU. those things are easy to bend. to easy
The TPU and EPU switch on the motherboard. The RAM is not reading at 1600 either. I might have to put it down to 1333What switch?
Does motherboard load and not windows? If yes, it is a boot order problem.

Maybe switch Storage Configuration, Sata mode Selection, change to maybe something else, probably AHCI.
Maybe switch between UEFI on or off
EDIT: blue screen of death during boot? probably wrong sata mode configuration. blank screen after bios might be UEFI needing to be enabled i think

I need to have UEFI on because i have a hard drive bigger than 2 TB and it is on AHCIGo to motherboard settings:

EPU don't matter much as it don't affect clock speeds.

In my boot devices i have my hard drive and then a UEFI DVD. If the UEFI DVD is showing that means my UEFI is enabled correct? I was correct the OS type is Windows UEFI mode. hm weird. I gotta it to work. The order was correct and everything but when i clicked saved and continue it restarted my computer and it didn't boot. I had to manually click my hard drive to boot it up. Should i now turn off my computer and turn of the TPU?I think so yes. Might also see "Windows Boot Manager" in a list of boot devices, try using this to boot.
My hard drive is not a UEFI tho. It is set as number one but for some reason i have to go to the boot menu and then clikc the hard drive in order for it to bootyes disable TPU.
Go to motherboard settings, set "Windows Boot Manager" (UEFI hard disk) as a primary boot device, and save.
The only thing i can move is the order of the boot device i made sure my hard drive is number one. I went into the boot settings and made sure my Hard drive is number 1 as well. I am in the setting called Boot/CSM (Compatibility support module) The boot device control is UEFI and Legacy OPROM, Boot from network device Legacy OPROM first, Boot from storage devices Legacy OPRAM first, Boot from PCI-E/PCI expansion devices Legacy OPROM first. Does it have to do with any of that?In the Asus motherboard "EZ mode", can you drag and drop the hard disk that will boot, to the far left? and save?
