I've just bought a new PC to stream on and it is producing a lower video quality than the VMWARE Windows boot on my MacBook Pro with exactly the same settings within OBS. I also am using ethernet rather than wi-fi to improve the upload speed. What do I need to do? e.g. upload log file, change settings etc.
PC is AMD A10-7800 Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores C+8G 3.50GHz 16.0GB RAM, 64-bit OS.
My upload speed is (only) 8.9Mbps / 1.1MB/s
I am using a condensor microphone through an M-Audio M-Track for sound, and linking it through the webcam (audio input device). The audio is only coming through on the left channel even though I have force microphone/aux to mono in the Audio settings. As I am using the audio input device in the webcam, I have disabled the audio in the audio settings so I wonder if the force mic to mono actually has any effect at all. What should I do to resolve this issue?
Finally, there is a delay between webcam and audio and also with on-screen, i.e. i click the mouse on screen and the sound comes a few moments later. What should I do?
I look forward to hearing from you, have had excellent success with the software through VMWARE on my MacBook Pro so really hoping the machine and audio interface aren't to blame.
