Question / Help Having issues with finding Games on OBS

I had someone help me (A lot) and we got all the settings right, that I know of.. but when we go to source, and add game, and then I hit the drop down bar, the game (combat arms) does not show up we've tried for over an hour.. and nothing.. can someone help?

Did you try setting a hotkey in Game Capture instead, and going into the game then pressing the hotkey?

If that fails, try Window Capture (with Aero on) instead. Just avoid Monitor Capture unless it's absolutely necessary.

THANK YOU!!! I have been trying to get straight game captures to work for over a month on my laptop. Even setting up OBS on the same GPU didn't do the trick. However, hitting the hotkey in-game was the trick. Never even thought to do that and hadn't seen it suggested in my many searches. Thank you very much -- I registered just to say that ;)
