So a friend of mine bought the Hauppauge HD PVR 60 Gaming edition and the standard software is absolutely horrendous so I suggested OBS. However, that did not work because neither the Classic OBS nor the OBS Studio seems to be able to pull feed from it. I have been all over the forums and followed some guides for the HD PVR 2 but nothing works with the one that I have. Can anyone help?
I have everything connected properly: I am getting a feed from the manufacturer recording software. I have searched for updates for both OBS Classic and OBS Stupid and both are up to date (4/1/2016). I Also tried an OBS build that "Jim" constructed to work with the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 but it does not work with the previous iteration ("OBS-MP-Win-0.5.1").
I also tried it getting a feed from OBS with the Hauppauge software open and closed. Neither seemed to differ.
