h265 Support

Do you know any streaming services that supports x265? Not meant in a douchy way, I'm genuinely curious.

I know none, officially RTMP doesn't even support x265 afaik.

Yeah, that's my findings as well. So for all intents and purposes other than local recordings I'm just trying to wrap my head around "all" the x265 requests :)

This is why I'm interested in using OBS only for x265 recording ATM, since there is no Streaming support.

That mantis issue has nothing to do with h265.
If you really want to use h265 replace the ffmpeg version included with obs-mp with one that supports h265 and use custom ffmpeg output.
