Question / Help H1Z1 issues

Trying to record H1Z1 games using OBS game capture,and it cannot do that it keeps crashing when I start streaming or preview stream even. The game H1Z1 crashes not OBS so I am so confused... Please anyone help
 
Does H1Z1 crash without OBS even up on your laptop? It does the same for me, it has a problem with crashing due to being so new.
 
No I am streaming from a desktop, I have OBS up on my desktop and even if I try to preview the stream or start streaming it crashes H1Z1 not OBS but other people have no issues streaming it
 
Only way to record H1Z1 is by using a diff capture method. H1Z1 is still in its early stages, so it might not like that OBS is hooking in, and in which ends up crashing. It does the same thing when i attempt to use Game Capture. I ended up just using Window Capture since i dont have any issues with it. Good Luck!
 
If you do ALT+ENTER in H1Z1 it becomes windowed. I had the same problem, but then I did that and then did a window capture in OBS. Let me know if that works! :)
 
post your logfile from the help menu. make sure that Razer Synapse is not installed as I've heard it can cause issues with OBS.

other ones that can cause issues are raptr (for AMD GPU) nvidia experience nVidia GPU), Overwolf, Steam in-home streaming and broadcasting.

I typically tell people to uninstall if you dont use these or disable the feature that could be causing a conflict.

Lastly, from what I hear window capture is what you want H1Z1 set to for the current time. I am unsure of the setting to use but remove any game capture for H1Z1 from sources
