Question / Help H.265 NVENC support

Hi Everyone,

First off, I would like to say that OBS is a fantastic piece of work:)

I've been using Nvidia NVENC Encoding for H.264 AVC and now want to switch to H.265 HEVC.

However there is no option for this in OBS.

The NVENC SDK 4.0 and 5.0 added support for HEVC (H.265) encoding on GM20x CPU's

Does anyone know when OBS will support this feature?

Happy to donate towards the cost of this feature request.

OBS will never support H.265
OBS-mp doesn't even natively support NVENC yet.
So it won't be anytime soon
