Guest Can Not See Camera On Skype

Hello,

I've just started using OBS to do live streams with guests. The issue that I'm running into is that when I use Skype OBS uses my camera feed, and the person on the other end of Skype can't see me. Is there a way to share the camera with both Skype and OBS? As a workaround, I am using two webcams on one system, but that is doubling my audio. I'm not using the webcam as my audio input. What options do I have?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Webcam devices can only be used by one program at a time.
You can try using the Skype for Creators variant, which provides an NDI output for each participant on a call, and install the obs-ndi plugin which allows OBS to send and receive NDI sources. I believe that includes your own camera.

Alternately, you can install the obs-virtualcam plugin which will allow you to apply a virtual camera output filter to your webcam source, and use the virtual camera in your VoIP software of choice.

Thank you for the suggestion, I keep getting an error when installing that plugin. I'll mention it in the thread that pertains to the plugin.
